1886 We started textile business.
Our company is located in east side of the Biwa Lake which is the largest lake in Japan. This
area, Koto, has developed as the only linen and flax fabric production area in this nation.
We’ve stuck to weaving from raw materials and developed fabrics by Japanese craftmanship.
We produce fabrics not only for fashion but also for night clothes and decorative bedding.
We’ve exhibited at Milano Unica and are accustomed to overseas sales.
Water twist is a method of twisting yarns with water.
Water-twist linen yarn fabrics: high-twist linen which is peculiar to this production area, Koto. High-twist linen yarn fabrics go with clothes for rainy season, because you feel cool and dry by high-twist linen yarn fabrics which exceed in absorption, drying and coolness far more than other textile.
Collaboration with various firms in other domestic production areas makes us to offer affluentmaterial development and sales, as for pure linen and linen-complex, from spring through fall.
