Banshu Ori
Our company is located in Nishiwaki city, western part of Japan and was founded in 1968 as a traditional firm which has dealt in “Banshu Ori”, originated in 1792, Edo era, being good at yarn-dyed cotton fabrics. And it was reorganized to Kageyama Co, Ltd. in August, 1997.
We’ve been producing high-quality fabrics, seeking for originality by using traditional as well as delicate technology of “Banshu Ori” supported by rich water of Kako River, Sugihara River and Noma River next to Nishiwaki city.
